For years now, Saint John's RNs have warned that the current administrations' focus on the bottom line has undermined our mission of providing patient care to the community.
Now the Administration has paid $5.25 Million to settle a Federal Department of Justice investigation into fraudulently "turbocharging" Medicare bills.
We feel the administration’s record of violating RNs’ rights, attempting to defraud a safety net payer and ignoring the patient care concerns we presented to them has destroyed their credibility and underscores the need for a unified RN voice to act as a check on management’s obsession with the bottom line.
